Brian Talbot serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), where he is responsible for managing the organization’s communications and outreach strategies. In this role, Talbot leads the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of marketing, public relations, and social media programs aimed at increasing awareness of the International Space Station National Laboratory as a unique innovation platform. Talbot joined the organization in February 2014.
Prior to joining CASIS, Talbot held marketing leadership positions in the information technology and consumer electronics industries. He most recently worked at Paragon Technology Group, as the vice president of marketing & strategy, responsible for developing and implementing Paragon’s go-to-market strategy. Prior to joining Paragon, Talbot served as the director of marketing for GTSI, a leading public sector provider of IT solutions. Talbot was responsible for designing and implementing GTSI’s integrated marketing communications strategies, which included direct oversight of marketing campaigns, lead generation, technology solutions launches, collateral development, events, digital and public relations programs.
Talbot has also served in marketing and leadership roles at other organizations at the forefront of technology and innovation, including the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), Terabeam Wireless, and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
Talbot holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Richmond with a concentration in marketing.
