The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) is pleased to announce our Request for Proposals (RFP), seeking to identify projects within the field of crystallography. CASIS is confident that this RFP will generate both experienced and new investigators who will endeavor to facilitate and discover new life science breakthroughs and next generation research in the area of protein crystallization. CASIS will support this process through grant funding, facilitation of service provider interactions and flight coordination to and from the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory. 

CASIS staff has developed a step-by-step process which will enable potential proposers an easy, efficient submittal process. Please follow the steps below:

	Proposed project submissions will be accepted AUGUST 1- 22, 2012 by selecting the SUBMIT RFP button. Submittal RFP icon will be live on August 1, 2012.
	All submittals must be made in PDF format electronically. CASIS must receive proposals by 5:00pm EST on August 22, 2012. Additional information regarding the Principal Investigator, including affiliations and contact information will be required at the time of submission, so please allow time to complete the online forms and upload your files.
