Carolyn Ticknor is the former president of Hewlett-Packard’s Imaging & Printing. In this role, she oversaw the full product line for one of HP’s most profitable global businesses. Prior to that position, Ms. Ticknor was the president of Hewlett-Packard’s LaserJets.
She oversaw the product development and successful worldwide launch of the first color LaserJet and multi-function LaserJets. She also integrated LaserJet, InkJet and Imaging product lines and developed the “distribute-then-print” model which is still the basis for commercial and digital printing. Ms. Ticknor’s leadership was critical to establishing numerous alliances, strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
Since retiring from Hewlett Packard in 2001, Ms. Ticknor has worked extensively as a consultant to various inventors and entrepreneurs. She is a true global market visionary and her expertise in technology innovation and technology commercialization is noted among the business community.
Throughout her career, Ticknor has served and continues to serve on several boards. She currently sits on the Clorox Board of Directors and serves as chair of the Clorox Audit Committee. Previously, she served on the AT&T Wireless Board of Directors, the OfficeMax (formerly Boise Cascade) Board of Directors and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Board at Stanford University. Ms. Ticknor has extensive board experience in selling and buying companies in addition to strategic and operational planning.
Ticknor received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands, a Master of Science from San Francisco State University, and her Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University.
